South Congress

South Congress is Austin's heartbeat. If you want walkable, vibrant, and constantly buzzing, this is it. The neighborhood spans roughly Congress Avenue from Downtown south to Oltorf, packed with restaurants, bars, galleries, live music venues, and coffee shops. You can walk to dinner, drinks, and live music on the same night. The energy is young, creative, and unapologetically Austin.

Young professionals ages 25 to 40, creatives, entrepreneurs, and anyone who prioritizes walkability and nightlife over space and quiet. It is a place where you are never bored on a Friday night.

Why choose South Congress?

You want to be in the middle of Austin's culture, walkability, and nightlife. You do not need a lot of space, and you are willing to pay premium rent for location and energy. This is Austin at its most vibrant.

Walkability and lifestyle

South Congress is one of Austin's most walkable neighborhoods. Restaurants, bars, shops, and venues on Congress Avenue and the surrounding streets are close by. Your car can become optional, not essential. Coffee culture is strong, with multiple third-wave coffee shops, roasters, and cafes within walking distance.

Dining and nightlife

SoCo has some of Austin's best restaurants, from food trucks to upscale dining. Bars range from dive bars to cocktail lounges. Live music venues are scattered throughout, from The Continental Club to smaller venues on Rainey Street. You are in the middle of Austin's social scene.
